Phases for creating
a digital twin of Organisation (DTO)

The creation of a digital twin is a process that consists of different phases to be developed for a correct integration and usability within an organisation.

// Phase 1

Analysis

This is the most important phase because it will define all processes, data and the use of the organisation’s digital twin (DTO). The objective of the analysis is to collect data, metrics and KPIs of the organisation.

For this, we use:

The next phase is contextualisation. In it, the processes and the relationship with the data obtained will be detailed. We establish the 3D designs of the process that allow us to visually realise your process within the digital twin of the organisation (DTO). The partner is very important, as he/she must be knowledgeable about the process, data and situations that may influence the creation of the digital twin.

Finally, this analysis should be validated by the customer.

// Phase 2

Usability

The usability analysis will detail the uses and the interaction and simulation interfaces.

Example: I need to analyse my production planning in real time by simulating stops and machine / tool changes.

To do this, we will design an interface that takes into account all the inputs to the process (raw materials, purchase orders, manufacturing capacity, Scada, labour, etc.). The interface will be hosted in the cloud and will be accessible from production computers, quality, etc., to the team’s computers and tablets.

In short, the analysis of usage will be fundamental to be able to establish and determine the levels of use for each area:

// Phase 3

Programming

Based on the knowledge of the processes, data and use of the digital twin of the organisation (DTO) by the client, we start to transfer the information to the NOA platform for the generation of digital twins of the organisation (DTO).

By using mathematical models and AI algorithms we will obtain the Beta digital twin.

The Beta digital twin is the prototype in which we will have to validate processes, data and reports / dashboards, to ensure a correct simulation of the process and verify whether the information obtained is useful and actionable.

// Phase 4

Connection

This is the phase where we define the I/O connections. (data input and output). Likewise, we will also define in which environment NOA will be installed, in NORLEAN’s Cloud or in the client’s server or Cloud.

Data security will be key based on the type of integration:

Twin Location. The cloud will allow to have:

// Phase 5

Activation

In the Activation or go-live phase, we will process the first tests, which will allow us to evaluate the implementation from various points of view.

// Phase 6

Delivery

We accompany you at all times to facilitate the integration of NOA in your processes.

NOA will be delivered with:
